Lantan Scenic Area
Lantan, also known as “Nantan”, is the reservoir of Chiayi Waterworks, providing water in Chiayi City. “Lantan Panyue” is one of the eight scenic spots in Chiayi. Sanxin Pavilion is around Lantan and is a good place to enjoy the scenery. Lantan is rich in natural resources, up to more than 60 kinds. It is a popular place for Chiayi citizens to appreciate natural beauty and relax. Every holiday attracts lots of visitors.
Hinoki Village
Alishan Forest Railway starts from the north gate station in the city, therefore, it is the gateway to Alishan, and is the first forest cultural and creative park in Taiwan.
Sun-Shooting Tower
